Ironbound Elite’s mission is to move girls into college hockey.  Our success is based on moving girls on to the schools of their choice. Whether it’s NCAA D1, D3 or ACHA D1 our goal is to help each player reach their individual athletic goals.

Danielle Stein

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that Danielle Stein has chosen Curry College for the next phase of her hockey and academic career for the fall of 2021.  

Curry College is located in Milton, MA.  Head Coach Kelly Rider is building the first women's ice hockey program at Curry - the newest varsity athletic program to compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) for the 2021-22 season! 

Danielle is excited to be a Colonel in their inaugural season.  “It felt like home the minute I stepped on campus. I’m proud to be part of Curry’s first-year program and excited to make school history with a great coaching staff.”  Congratulations Danielle!

Tara Henshaw

Ironbound Hockey’s Tara Henshaw Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that defenseman, Tara Henshaw has committed to play NCAA hockey for Endicott College.  Tara will be joining her teammate Molly Coyne at Endicott for the 2021-22 seasonEndicott plays in the Colonial Hockey Conference. It’s located 20 miles north of Boston in Beverly, MA, and is known for having one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country.

“I am very excited to be a Gull next season. I’m so happy to continue skating with Molly and look forward to meeting my future teammates,” Tara said.  Tara has a great sense of humor off the ice and is recognized for her speed on the ice.  We know she will be a great teammate for her future Gull family. Congratulations Tara!!

Kate Segalla

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that defenseman Kate Segalla has chosen Nichols College (NCAA D3) in Dudley, MA  for the fall of 2021.  The Bison play in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).  The CCC, founded in 1984, is  NCAA Division III and has ten full members throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and meaningful student life.   Kate is excited to play for Coach Fallon, who after one year brought the Bison to the semi-finals of their division championship.  

We wish Kate the best for the 2021-2022 Season as a Bison! Congratulations Kate!!

Sophia Szelag

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that goalie Sophia Szelag has chosen Arcadia University (NCAA D3) for the next phase in her hockey and academic career for the fall of 2021.  

Arcadia is located in Glenside, PA and the 2020-21 women’s hockey team will be the first at the University!  Head coach Kelsey Koelzer enjoyed an illustrious Division I collegiate playing and coaching career at Princeton University. The Arcadia Knights will compete against Middle Atlantic Conference schools and will play their home games at Colmar-based Hatfield Ice.

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that defenseman, Danielle Goner has chosen to play college hockey for The State University of New York (SUNY) in Canton, NY for the fall of 2021.  The SUNY Canton Roos play in the Northeast Women’s Hockey League (NEWHL) which compete at the NCAA Division III level.  Danielle, a native of New York, is excited to play for Coach LaBaff,  loves the SUNY Canton campus and the “all about hockey” vibe of New York State.

We wish Danielle the best of luck for the 2021-2022 season as a Kangaroo! Way to go Danielle!!

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that forward Lil Storer has chosen Arcadia University (NCAA D3) for the next chapter in her hockey and academic career for the fall of 2021.  

Arcadia is located in Glenside, PA and the 2020-21 women’s hockey team will be the first at the University. Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that forward Molly Coyne has committed to play NCAA hockey for Endicott College.  Endicott plays in the Colonial Hockey conference, is located 20 miles north of Boston in Beverly, MA and is known for having one of the most beautiful college campuses. 

“I am so excited and honored to know I will be a Gull next season,” Molly said. “I really took my time learning about each school that showed interest in me and after visiting Endicott and talking to Coach McPhee, I knew I found the place I wanted to call home.  Endicott is a place where I can play both hockey and lacrosse while pursuing my academic focus of exercise science with a minor in biology.  “

We are so proud of Molly’s hard work and determination! Way to go Molly!!

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that forward Paige Kehoe has chosen Trinity College (NCAA D3) for the next chapter in her hockey and academic career for the fall of 2021.

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that veteran goaltender Olivia DeGuire has committed to play college hockey for Stevenson (NCAA D3) next fall. DeGuire  has been a very important part of Ironbound Elite both on and off the ice these past 3 years.  Her dedication to the team and enthusiasm toward the sport, coupled with her interest in Forensics/Criminal Justice made Stevenson a perfect school for her.  

Stevenson University, known for its distinctive career focus and commitment to student success, serves more than 2,800 undergraduate students on its campus in Owings Mills, Maryland.  Olivia said she felt right at home when she stepped on the campus and made an instant connection with Coach Tori who made Liv feel very welcome.  They say that good things come in small packages, well, we are expecting big things from Olivia as she moves on to play NCAA hockey!

Millie Sirum

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that Millie Sirum has committed to play NCAA hockey for the College of the Holy Cross .  Holy Cross sponsors 27 varsity sports each of which competes at the NCAA Division 1 level.  Holy Cross is located in Worcester, MA and the Crusaders are members of the Women’s Hockey East Association.

Ironbound Hockey Director Sam Cheema stated, “Millie exemplifies what it means to be a hockey player.  She is a leader on and off the ice with her relentless desire to better her team. We are proud of her accomplishments and looking forward to watching her development at the NCAA D1 level”.

Annabel Ziskin

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that Annabel Ziskin has committed to play NCAA hockey for William Smith Hobart College.  William Smith Hobart is located in Geneva, New York, and will be joining the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) in the 2021-2022 season.  The NEHC is one of the premier women’s ice hockey conferences in Division III.   

Hockey Director Sam Cheema stated, “We are all so excited for Annabel and her decision to join the Herons next season. Annabel is a defenseman from Long Island with good size and isn’t afraid to jump in the rush.”  From the moment Annabel stepped on campus at William Smith Hobart she knew it would be the place she could further her academics and hockey pursuits. Her positive interactions with Coach Totten & Coach Gallagher, in addition to the warm welcome from the players, made Annabel’s decision final.”

Samantha Deiches

Ironbound Elite is pleased to announce that Samantha Deiches has committed to play NCAA hockey for Anna Maria College.  Anna Maria College is a four-year, private, co-ed, Catholic institution accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The College is located in the heart of New England on a 190-acre campus in Paxton, Mass., minutes from the vibrant college town of Worcester, Mass.  Anna Maria’s program began it’s Division III program in the 2018-2019 season as an independent.  Sam chose Anna Maria because the school was small and friendly making her feel right at home.  “Coach Cox has years of experience, and he is building a new girls hockey program that I will get to be a part of and be a contributing player right from the start.”  

We are excited for Samantha to pursue her passion in digital photography at Anna Maria and we wish Sam all the best for the 2020-2021 season as an Amcat!

Bridgette Maiksich

Ironbound Elite is proud to announce that Brigitte Maikisch #18 has committed to play NCAA hockey for Neumann University.  Neumann University is a private Roman Catholic liberal arts college in Aston, Pennsylvania.  Neumann currently plays in the United College Hockey Conference (UCHC). The league is comprised of two divisions: North and South.  Neumann is in the South division along with Manhattanville, Stevenson, Alvernia, Chatham and Lebanon Valley. The North consists of Elmira, William Smith, Utica, Nazareth, Wilkes, and King’s.  While at Neumann, Brigitte will be pursuing a degree in elementary education.  

We wish Brigitte all the best for the 2020-2021 season as a Knight!

Ironbound Elite is pleased to announce that Jennifer Olnowich #30 has committed to play Division 1 hockey at Princeton University for the 2020-2021 Season.  Princeton, a private Ivy League research university, is part of the 12-team Eastern College Athletic Conference.  Jen’s commitment to sports and academics is commendable and Ironbound wishes Jen much success in the next phase of her journey as a Tiger!
