As a family Ironbound Hockey is committed to making a positive change in the lives of not only our players, athletes and families but of those whom we don’t know.  This year we are holding our first ever Breast Cancer Awareness game on Saturday October 31st  – Ironbound 19U Premier against the Boston Shamrocks at the RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House (NJ Devils practice facility).  During this game we will be sporting pink jerseys, tape, laces and raising as much awareness as we can to our community of female athletes.

We have tasked ourselves with the goal of raising a minimum of $3000 for this cause. Help us as we support the NHL in raising funds for Hockey Fights Cancer. Our fundraising campaign has surpassed $7500! You can help by clicking here to donate > https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/ironbound-elite-against-cancer

Thank you for all your support in our efforts to raise necessary funds and also awareness to a cause we all care about!

Founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League® and the National Hockey League Players’ Association, Hockey Fights Cancer™ (HFC) unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. The initiative gets an assist from players, coaches, officials, equipment managers, front office staff, corporate partners, and fans. Together, the hockey family looks to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer.

Hockey Fights Cancer helps the American Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society, and Movember Foundation provide a better quality of life for patients, caregivers, and their families.
